Rob Scaramella Managing Director Rob is a Managing Director at Hastings and is on the Investment Committee.
He is responsible for all aspects of Hastings’ business, including strategic direction and firm oversight, investment strategy and sourcing, and evaluating, executing, and managing Hastings’ investments.
Rob brings nearly 20 years of experience to Hastings, the majority of which has been spent executing control buyouts in the lower middle market.
Rob was most recently a Partner at Delos Capital, a lower middle market private equity firm specializing in complex, value-oriented buyouts, where he led several Delos investments and served on the firm’s Investment Committee.
Before joining Delos, Rob founded The Hudson + East Partnership, a private investment firm primarily representing the interests of a Forbes 400 family office.
Prior to Hudson + East, Rob was Managing Director of Ingleside Advisors, the Registered Investment Advisor of a New York-based single-family office, with responsibility for direct private equity investments, and a Principal at The Yucaipa Companies, a multi-billion dollar private equity firm, in both Los Angeles and New York.
Previously, Rob was an investment banker in the M&A division of UBS Investment Bank in New York and advised emerging growth companies on M&A and financing transactions in Boston.
Rob holds a BA from Amherst College.
