Summit Equities, Inc. Investment ManagersFinance Summit Equities (SE) offers ongoing portfolio management services based on each client's individual goals, objectives, time horizon, and risk tolerance. They assist the client to position their investments in according to the agreed upon allocation, using investment vehicles such as managed mutual funds, variable annuities, variable life contracts, and portfolios of individual issues. SE's Summit Managed Portfolios, formerly the Summit Model Portfolios and/or the Summit Models Program, are custom designed portfolios constructed by SE's Investment Management Committee. The managed portfolios use mutual funds and ETFs to achieve various mixes of domestic equities, international equities, tax-free fixed income, real asset alternatives, and hedging strategies. One of the managed portfolios also utilizes listed Master Limited Partnerships (MLPs). Some of the managed portfolios are managed within Jefferson National Monument Advisor, a variable annuity. The firm's Strategic Asset Allocation Program (SAA) enables SE's IARs to custom design portfolios for clients, taking into account the client's objectives, risk tolerance, time horizon and liquidity needs, other investment assets, income and tax situation. Although most SAAs are primarily allocated among mutual funds and ETFs, they may also hold individual positions in stocks, bonds, traded and non-traded REITs, hedge funds (including funds-of-funds), unit investment trusts (UITs) and variable insurance and/or annuities or other securities. Summit Equities limits their investment advice and asset management to mutual funds, equities, fixed income, ETFs, hedge funds, REITs, insurance products including equity index, variable, and fixed annuities. The firm may use other securities as well to help diversify a portfolio when applicable. The firm utilizes long term and short term trading, options writing including covered options, or spreading strategies. In addition, they assist clients in long term deferred income strategies through use of variable annuities. Strategies also include hedging strategies through the use of hedge funds. Summit’s proprietary platform may provide tactical asset allocation services for clients in an investment program using a defensive and one or more aggressive mutual funds. | Directeur Financier/CFO | - |
