Mothetjwa is the Group’s Human Resources (HR) Manager responsible for the full value chain of managing talent within the Group.
He supports the organisation in recruitment, assessment and placement.
He helps employees integrate into the culture of Pamodzi through orientation, induction and training programs.
As part of the company’s retention strategy, Mothetjwa manages a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; coordinate the training to cultivate professional, technical and managerial skills, counselling and mentoring of employees and overseeing the performance management framework.
As part of positioning Pamodzi as an employer of choice, he periodically benchmarks the company against the best in our class, conducting routine market surveys, reviewing professional publications and participating in professional societies.
Although Mothetjwa is a trained HR professional, he has worked in a commercial role at Toyota Financial Services where he was responsible for new business, risk management, marketing, managing collections agents, customer service and customer relations management and developing and reviewing risk management policies.
Before joining Pamodzi Mothetjwa was the HR Manager of a property investment and development company with similar responsibilities as he has in the Group.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resource Management from North-West University (Vaal Triangle Campus) and Retail Insurance Qualification.
