Mr. Joseph E.
Brunken is Senior Vice President at Amalgamated Bank.
He is also Head of Investment Management Division.
He is responsible for managing all facets of the Division's operations, which includes managing investments for pension funds, employee benefit plans and institutional investors.
Investment management is divided into three broad asset classes: Fixed Income, Public Equity and Private Equity.
Prior to joining Amalgamated Bank in 2010, Mr. Brunken was a senior vice president and director of sales and marketing at Mutual of America Capital Management Corporation.
At the firm, he recruited, trained and managed the sales team.
He also developed successful marketing, communications and sales programs that presented the organization's debt and equity investment strategies to a variety of institutional investors.
Prior to working at Mutual of America Capital Management, he served as vice president and director of sales and marketing at Nikko Capital Management (USA), Inc.
Mr. Brunken earned his Master's degree in Business Policy from the Columbia University School of Business and did undergraduate work at Pace University's Lubin School of Business.
