Daniel Cashion has been working in quantitative finance and technology for 25 years.
Most recently, Dan founded Decryptex, an algorithmic surveillance firm for the capital markets, which was wholly acquired by ACA Compliance Group in March 2016.
Prior to Decryptex, Dan was the lead quantitative researcher for the principals of Moore Capital, a $22B global macro hedge fund.
Preceeding Moore, Dan served as the President of Axioma, the leading provider of optimization algorithms to the capital markets, as well as Managing Director at Barra, the leading provider of risk models.
Dan has degrees from the University of Chicago and Villanova University, is a CFA charterholder, and holds the FRM designation.
