Mr. Phillips joined Fiduciary Trust in 1963, was named President in 1992 and Chairman in 2002.
He holds an A.B. from Harvard College (Cum Laude) and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
He is a Director of the Family Foundation of North America and a Director of the United Way of Massachusetts Bay.
He has also served as President (1997-1998), First Vice President (1996-1997), and Vice President (1989-1993) of the Harvard Alumni Association.
He currently is a member of the boards of the American Memorial Hospital in France (President from 1988-1998), Families International, Inc. (Board Chair from 1997-1999), and Family Service America, Inc. (Board Chair from 1995-1997), and Vice President/Treasurer of the Frederick E.
