Barbara Zeiller joined NEW in 1998, bringing 17 years of experience in the human resources profession.
Since joining NEW, Ms. Zeiller has initiated a number of programs designed to benefit the company's employees, including a revised benefits package and consolidation of the policy, corporate structure and management development aspects of the company.
A graduate of the University of Maryland, Ms. Zeiller's career has included 10 years with World Airways, six years with U.S.
West, and five years with IBM.
Additionally, she is active in a number of associations and philanthropies.
Her professional affiliations include the American Compensation Association, Washington Area Human Resources Association and Society of Human Resource Management.
Ms. Zeiller's volunteer activities include the Special Olympics, Women's Center, House of Ruth and teaching English as a second language, as well as community-based courses on topics such as self-esteem and budgeting.
