He has over 25 years investment experience as a UK, European and Far East equity analyst and portfolio manager.
He returned to the UK and managed an equity long short strategy with Michael Nicol at Pengana Capital before joining Midmar Capital LLP as a founding partner in February 2010.
He began his career in corporate finance with Noble and Company before working in fund management with Dunedin Fund Managers and Ivory & Sime in Edinburgh.
He then worked in Australia with First State as Senior Investment Manager, during a period when international assets grew from A$ 20 million to over A$ 2 billion, and latterly with Perennial Investment Partners as Head of European Equities.
