Mr. Alex Shayevsky is a Managing Director, Assistant Portfolio Manager & Senior Analyst at Halseypoint Asset Management LLC.
Prior to joining HalseyPoint, Mr. Shayevsky was a Senior Analyst in Citadel Advisors’ High Yield, Event Driven, and Distressed Credit group, which he joined in June of 2015 as the second hire.
Prior to joining Citadel, Alex was an Executive Director at JPMorgan where he spent 10 years as a desk analyst in Credit Trading.
At JPMorgan he covered a broad spectrum of sectors throughout his career including Airlines, Financials, Energy, Mining, Retail, Auto Suppliers, and Technology.
Alex’s responsibilities ranged across analyzing par and distressed credit, training junior analysts, and helping syndicate financing for par and special situation borrowers.
He graduated from New York University Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting.
