Mr. Micka joined Gleacher & Co. Securities on its June 2010 formation, the merger that took place between Broadpoint.Amtech Equity Capital Markets and Broadpoint.Gleacher Securities.
Prior to that, he was with American Technology Research.
Before that, he was with Quantum Capital Management where he served as a marketing director and a portfolio manager.
Previous to Quantum, he was a portfolio manager at Palm Harbor Capital Management.
His past investment experience includes several years as an institutional equity salesman with Legg Mason, NatWest Markets, Morgan Stanley, and Robertson, Stephens & Co. He has been in the financial services business since 1985.
Mr. Micka graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and earned an M.B.A.
at Emory University.
