Profil

Sumaya joined AIIM as an Investment Associate in 2022 and progressed to Investment Manager in 2023.
She forms part of the SADC investment team involved in structuring equity investment opportunities in infrastructure assets as well as the ongoing management of existing investments in the fund portfolios.
Sumaya began her career at Citi where she spent six years in CIB.
After a short stint at Oasis Asset Management, Sumaya moved to Mergence Investment Managers where she spent four years working on infrastructure debt and equity transactions.
Sumaya holds a bachelor’s degree in Investment Management from the University of Pretoria.
