Ms. Shelley Lyford is Chief Operating Officer at The Gary & Mary West Health Institute..
In addition to this, she also serves as Executive Vice President of the West Wireless Health Institute and President of the Gary and Mary West Foundation.
She has expertise in tax and compliance as well as the capability of creating impactful, action-oriented partnerships and identifying technology that enables seniors to be independent and age in place.
Prior to her work with Gary and Mary West, she was a Director at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Joan Kroc Institute at the University of San Diego.
While with the United Nations and the International Executive Service Corps, she gained experience in assessing the viability of opportunities in emerging markets.
She currently sits on the Governance Committee of Grantmakers in Aging.
Ms. Valentine graduated from the University of San Diego Summa Cum Laude with a M.A.
in international relations and political-economy.
