The firm was founded in 2006 and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Eagle Asset Management, Inc., which is ultimately held by Raymond James Financial, Inc. (NYSE: RJF). ClariVest provides advisory services to a variety of clients such as institutional investors, pension and profit-sharing plans, investment companies and other pooled vehicles (such as limited partnerships and funds registered outside the US), corporations, state and municipal government entities, trusts, seed accounts and charitable organizations.
