Sam Tyagi is a founder and managing partner of Argean Capital.
He has founded/acquired three IT integration and product businesses and subsequently turned around/sold them generating hundreds of millions of dollars in shareholder value, achieving a #2 ranking on Entrepreneur Magazine’s “Hot 100 List.” Sam was founder/CEO of Softline, an IT integration, services and products company in the SAP & Oracle ERP space and a pioneer in hosted managed services which he sold to KPMG Consulting, becoming senior partner & global partner-in-charge of the SAP practice at KPMG.
He was then founder/CEO of Systech, an SAP integration and services company, which he sold to ACS, a subsidiary of Xerox.
Sam subsequently re-acquired Systech from Xerox, successfully turned it around and sold it to Softtek tripling shareholder value in less than 3 years.
During the turnaround Sam focused on financial restructuring including SG&A optimization, solutions restructuring including investing in process-driven solutions vs people-driven, implementing digital governance and continuous improvement solutions.
In the course of 3 years, Systech became a true strategic transformation partner to its clients and business experienced healthy growth.
Sam is a board member of American Red Cross Silicon Valley and has a MS Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State.
