Phil leads the Business Development team.
His team is responsible for leading the origination efforts for both new platform investments and strategic add-on acquisitions.
Phil and the team actively manage and cultivate senior relationships across the investment banking, private equity, executive talent, and deal service provider ecosystem.
The team works to identify the very best acquisition candidates through extensive industry mapping and utilizes technology to effectively manage and originate investment opportunities.
Phil has more than 20 years of experience in finance and private equity, having started his career at Merrill Lynch in investment banking.
Prior to joining WCP, Phil was a managing director at William Blair & Company where he helped build a world-class FinTech and Software investment banking team.
Phil holds a BS in Finance, with high honors, from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Phil is a dad to two boys and a dedicated collector of sports cards and memorabilia.
He enjoys running, boating, and fishing.
