Prior to joining McDonnell Investment, from 2001 to April 2008, Mr. Cecil served as Assistant General Counsel at Invesco, where he provided legal counsel to several units of Invesco’s investment management operations across the country.
From 1997 until 2001, he was corporate counsel for William Blair & Company, LLC and was charged with providing legal services for William Blair’s asset management, investment banking, research and brokerage units.
He began his legal career with Van Kampen Investments Inc. in 1994 and spent three years providing legal services to Van Kampen’s institutional separate account and investment company units.
Mr. Cecil earned his J.D.
degree from DePaul University College of Law and a B.A.
degree in Political Science from DePauw University.
