Profil
Mr. Norman Hu is a Portfolio Manager of Equity Index Strategies at MetLife Investment Management LLC and Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. He is a Lead Portfolio Manager and Trader of equity assets within the Index Strategies group.
He is responsible for all aspects of the portfolio management process, including making investment decisions, trading, cash flow monitoring, performance attribution analysis, portfolio reporting and daily operations.
Prior to joining MetLife in 2003, Mr. Hu was with Keefe, Bruyette & Woods for one year as a Proprietary Trader using firm capital to trade equities and options, focusing primarily on the banking and insurance sectors.
Prior to joining Keefe, Bruyette & Woods, he was with Lehman Brothers for three years as an Institutional Block Trader making markets in over 75 listed equities including money centers, thrifts, asset management, brokerage and consumer finance companies.
He holds a Bachelor of Science, Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University.
