Miguel M.
Carpio is the founder of UST College of Architecture Alumni Association, Council of Architectural Researchers & Educators.
He currently holds the position of Chairman-Technical Committee on Architecture at the Commission On Higher Education, Scribe-College of Fellows at The United Architects of the Philippines, and is a Member of the Philippine Institute of Environmental Planners and the National Real Estate Association (Philippines).
In the past, he served as Director-Commission on Education at the University of Asia & the Pacific, Executive Director at Feu Center For Studies On The Urban Environment, and was a Member of the Regional Assessment Team for Architecture.
He also held the position of President at the Council of Deans & Heads of Architecture Schools In The Phil.
Dr. Carpio obtained a graduate degree from the Australian National University and undergraduate and doctorate degrees from the University of Santo Tomas.
