Mr. Michael O.
Langlois is Chief Executive Officer at Threadneedle Investments Singapore (Pte) Ltd.
He is responsible for building relationships with local Asian financial institutions and with global private banks in the region, to offer high net worth investors access to the unique investment approach and outstanding performance track record of Threadneedle and its sister company Columbia.
He joined the firm from Permal Group, where he was Managing Director and Senior Vice President.
Mr. Langlois established Permal’s office in Singapore in 2001 and Hong Kong in 2006, and successfully introduced Permal hedge funds to the affluent market in Asia.
He worked extensively with investment banks and other distributors to deliver investment solutions for high net worth investors in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Malaysia.
Prior to his role at Permal, he was the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Merrill Lynch in Singapore, which he joined in 1983.
