He served as an Associate Adjunct Professor in Physics at the University of Rhode Island.
Currently, Dr. Briere is a Member of the IEEE and serves on the Program Committee of the International Symposium for Power Semiconductor Devices and ICs.
He received a Doctorate of Science in Solid State Physics from The Technical University of Berlin and an MS in Physics and BSEE from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts.
