He has more than ten years of experience in middle market private equity and has worked on investments in a broad range of industries, including industrials, chemicals, and business services.
Matt has served on the board of directors of numerous H.I.G.
portfolio companies.
Prior to joining H.I.G., Matt worked for The Sterling Group, an operationally focused middle market private equity firm based in Houston.
Matt started his career at RBS, in the Energy and Chemicals investment banking group.
Matt received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and an M.B.A.
from Columbia University.
