Martin Holm is a partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ Copenhagen and Stockholm offices and a member of the global Healthcare & Life Sciences, Industrial, and Private Equity practices.
He is a trusted advisor on senior executive search and global talent management issues to clients across a broad set of industries, with deep expertise in medical devices and technology, diagnostics, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, industrial biotechnology, and digital health tech.
Martin serves as the global co-lead of the firm’s global Medical Technology sector.
Martin’s clients include Scandinavian, European, and international companies, including Fortune 500, private equity- and venture-backed companies, as well as small- and medium-sized public and private companies.
He conducts CEO and board successions and C-suite searches across the full functional spectrum.
Leveraging his industrial background to focus on innovation leaders, he is also a member of the firm's global Marketing, Sales & Strategy Officers practice and has extensive experience placing chief financial officers.
Prior to Heidrick & Struggles, Martin was a consultant and strategic advisor working with listed, private equity, and venture capital companies.
Previously, he was a partner at a global executive search firm in the life sciences practice.
Martin began his career in management consulting and has since worked in senior leadership positions with some of the world’s leading life sciences companies.
He has extensive global experience and has lived and worked for 15+ years in Europe, the U.S., and Latin America, serving as both regional head in EMEA and in Latin America, managing director, and in various commercial headquarters leadership positions.
Besides his native Danish, Martin is fluent in English, Portuguese, the Scandinavian languages, and is proficient in Spanish.
