Mr. Newcomb has served on Oakley’s Board of Director’s since January 1997.
He joined Oakley in June 1994 as its vice president of international sales.
He served as executive vice president and chief financial officer from July 1995 until January 1997, chief operating officer from January 1997 to September 1997, and as chief executive officer from September 1997 to April 1999.
Effective May 1999, he was named chief operating officer.
Prior to joining Oakley, Mr. Newcomb was an attorney for five years at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, Los Angeles, California.
Mr. Newcomb has also been a certified public accountant since 1984.
