Maeda, CFA MBA, is a Chief Investment Officer of Direct Indexing at Natixis Advisors LLC.
Previously, Mr. Maeda was a senior portfolio manager and product manager at Barclays Global Investors, where he was the launch portfolio manager for 17 of the BGI iShares exchange-traded funds.
He joined Active Index Advisors in 2003 as a founding partner before it was acquired by Natixis Advisors, L.P.
in 2004.
Mr. Maeda received his BS in industrial engineering and operations research from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MBA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
He is a member of the CFA Society of San Francisco and the Investment Management Consultants Association.
