Jim serves as Senior Vice President – Investment Strategies.
He is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment themes as well as monitoring existing investments.
Jim also facilitates the ability of outside investors including family offices, registered investment advisors, and institutions to co-invest with the firm and our principals & shareholders.
Jim has over a decade of experience in banking, finance and private equity.
He began his career at Amegy Bank in the Corporate Lending group.
He also worked in the Global Energy Group of UBS Investment Bank, where he focused on corporate finance and M&A advisory assignments for leading energy companies.
Most recently, Jim worked at Sage Road Capital, a lower middle market energy-focused private equity firm.
While there, Jim focused on sourcing, conducting diligence, executing and managing investments in the energy industry.
Jim graduated Cum Laude from Vanderbilt University with a B.S.
in Economics.
He is a native Houstonian and enjoys playing golf and spending time with his wife and two children.
