Berger entered executive search in 1986 after a distinguished career in education and business.
He served more than seventeen years at the University of Southern California as Director of Admissions and later as Assistant Vice President for Development.
In addition, Dr. Berger co-founded and was a principal in a children's clothing importing business for 20 years.
Born and raised in northern California, Dr. Berger earned his Bachelor's, Master's and Ph.D.
degrees from USC.
He serves in leadership capacities on boards of directors of corporations, independent schools and community service organizations and agencies.
