Mr. Hisashi Kuroda is a Head of Japan Internal Equities at Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.
He is responsible for developing strategy, managing risk and overseeing
management of the Japan-focused investment portfolio in ADIA’s Internal Equities Department.
He has 20 years of experience in equity research and portfolio management, and a strong and consistent track record of outperformance.
Previously, Mr. Kuroda was employed at Meiji Yasuda Asset Management, a leading Japanese investment management and trust services advisory, where he spearheaded the company’s Japanese Equity Team since 2010 in his capacity as General Manager.
Earlier in his career, he spent eight years with Blackrock Japan (formerly Merrill Lynch Investment Managers Co.) in the Japanese Equity Large Cap Team, starting as an Investment Analyst, followed by Portfolio Manager (Equity), and ultimately Director.
He holds a B.A.
in Economics from Keio University in Japan and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in the USA.
