From 2001 to 2007 he served as an American Cancer Society Research Fellow, a Faculty Member at Oregon Health and Science University and Member of the OHSU Cancer Institute.
Dr. Ransom received a BS degree in Biology from the College of William and Mary and a PhD in Anatomy and Cell Biology from the University of Virginia.
He received postdoctoral training with Dr. Len Zon at Harvard University Medical School.
