Mr. Colin M.
Carter, CFA MBA, is a Managing Director at Tiedemann Advisors LLC.
He has direct responsibility for managing client relationships.
He works closely with clients to understand their goals and objectives; manage their investments, including impact investing; and integrate their investment strategy, philanthropy, and estate planning into a cohesive wealth management plan.
He is also a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and also oversees business operations for the Dallas office.
Mr. Carter joined Tiedemann when the firm merged with Presidio Capital Advisors, where he was responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining investment portfolios for families, individuals, foundations and endowments.
He also served on Presidio’s Board of Directors and opened the Dallas office in 2003.
Previously, he was a Senior Vice President at Merrill Lynch in the Private Wealth Advisory Group.
Colin also spent ten years with Goldman Sachs & Co., working in both the Institutional Fixed Income and Private Advisory Services Groups.
Mr. Carter earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Duke University.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and also Member of CFA Institute in Dallas.
