He specialized in oncology, immunology, and cardiology product development.
Christian was a Doctoral Research Fellow at Boehringer Mannheim, Germany (now Roche Diagnostics).

in immunology, both from the University of Munich, as well as an MBA with focus on healthcare administration from Pennsylvania State University.
He is a U.S.-certified ISO 9000 Lead Assessor and was an officer in a Special Forces Unit of the German 1st Mountain Division.
