After earning a bachelor's degree from the University of California at Berkeley in 1963, and a Master of Science degree from the London School of Economics in 1965, he earned a Ph.D.
from Harvard University in 1968.
From 1968 to 1974, Dr. Rosenberg taught finance, economics, and econometrics at University of California's School of Business Administration at Berkeley.
