Prior to joining KLD, Mr. Brotschi was a research intern at Verite Inc., an Amherst based non-profit focusing on international labor law and human rights issues.
He also worked as a business-consulting intern at the Small Business Development Center of Western Massachusetts, in Springfield.
Mr. Brotschi graduated magna cum laude with departmental honors from the Commonwealth Honors College at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, with a triple major in Economics, Legal Studies, and Social Thought and Political Economy.
His undergraduate thesis focused on the relationship between unions and the state, and the disparity in rising productivity and the falling real wage in the manufacturing sectors of the United States and France.
Mr. Brotschi has also been active in numerous campus and local groups addressing issues of social and environmental justice and sustainability.

KLD's Ratings Review Committee (RRC) consists of the firm's senior analysts and the Director of Research.
