Imran bin Abdullah was appointed as a Board member of MAVCAP on 22 February 2022.
Imran bin Abdullah is currently the Under Secretary of the Fund Division at the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
He is responsible in managing a demand driven R&D MOSTI’s fund that lead to product commercialization.
Prior to this, he was the Under Secretary of the Entrepreneurship Monitoring and Empowerment Division, Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives, where he helps setting the direction of inclusive, sustainable and competitive entrepreneurial development.
He began his career in government at the Prime Minister's Office as a Diplomatic and Administrative Officer in 1995.
His previous positions were in the areas of international relations and foreign affairs, human resources, organizational structure, defence, social and infrastructure and economics.
