Real is Senior Vice President of Public Policy for PNM Resources, Inc. Previously, he served as Executive Vice President of Power Production and Marketing for PNM Resources and headed the Gas Services Business Unit.
He has 30 years of technical and professional management experience.
Mr. Real is a Director of the PNM Foundation, the Governor's Business Executives for Education, Albuquerque Economic Development and the Golden Apple Foundation and a Member of the Albuquerque Armed Forces Advisory Committee and the Leadership Albuquerque Alumni Association and a Trustee of The Nature Conservancy.
Currently, he is a Member of the New Mexico Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors, the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration, the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and the Kansas State Board of Technical Professions.
He received a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Kansas.
