Before joining Walnut in 1991, Mr. McKenna spent nearly 15 years with PNC Bank where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Provident Capital Mangement, a subsidiary of the bank.
Prior to this post, he was Group Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Investment Advisory Department of the Trust Division.
Earlier positions include tours of duty with Weeden & Co., and Mellon Bank.
Walnut and its clients benefit from over 40 years of experience which Mr. McKenna has gained advising both individual and institutional clients.
Mr. McKenna earned a B.S.
from Temple University, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and is a former president of both the Philadelphia Securities Association and the Financial Analysts of Pennsylvania.
