He entered the brokerage industry in 1984 and spent most of the next nineteen years with Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor focusing on financial planning, estate planning and wealth management issues for both individuals and business owners.
He began his career in the financial services industry in 1974 joining a Management Development Program at GE Capital.
He spent ten years in the Retailer Financing Division in management and marketing positions of increasing responsibility.

He lives in Orleans with his wife, has two children, and has a house full of pets.
