Prior to joining Highland Capital, Mr. Parker was a Senior Associate at Hunt Special Situations Group, where he worked on a wide range of control-oriented distressed private equity investments.
Prior to joining Hunt, he worked as a Private Equity/Mezzanine Analyst at BMO Merchant Banking.
He began his career working in sales and trading functions at both First Union Securities and Morgan Stanley.
Mr. Parker earned a B.A.
in both Economics and Business from Virginia Military Institute and an M.B.A.
in Finance, Strategy, and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
