He most recently worked as an Oil & Gas Analyst at a competing firm and has past experience as an Assistant VP and Industry Analyst in the oil & gas and utilities sectors for Merrill Lynch Canada Inc. Mr. Dorward also worked as a research associate in the oil & gas and royalty trusts sectors for CIBC World Markets Inc. Importantly, he has direct experience in the oil industry as a former strategic planning analyst for Suncor Energy Inc. He has extensive experience with investment valuation and analytical techniques related to the energy industry; he also has shown the ability to produce the type of action-oriented research that “fuels” sales and builds solid client relationships.

Mr. Dorward earned his CFA designation in 2001 and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Alberta in 1991.
