He initially joined the company taking responsibility for various sectors as a Research Analyst, before joining the stewardship team in 1987.
He began his career at Schaverien & Co (Private Client Stockbrokers) in 1981.
Mr. Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Exeter University.
He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Society of Investment Professionals.
