Mr. Stephen E.
Rossi is Co-Founder & Managing Partner at CounterPoint Capital Partners LLC.
Prior to founding CounterPoint in 2010, Mr. Rossi spent fourteen years as a commercial finance executive, most recently as Managing Director and Vice President of Corporate Finance at Platinum Equity where he arranged in excess of $8 billion in committed financings for target acquisitions and ongoing working capital.While at Platinum, he closed over sixty transactions, including asset-backed, cash flow, leasing, securitization, second lien, mezzanine, and secured and unsecured high yield bond placements.
He also managed all post-acquisition financing activity for Platinum Equity’s funds and portfolio companies, which utilized over $5 billion of committed facilities across over thirty platforms globally.
Prior to that, Mr. Rossi was Vice President, Senior Commercial Underwriter at Bank of America Business Capital where he structured and closed lower and middle-market acquisition and working capital facilities for sponsor and non-sponsor backed companies.
Prior to that, he worked for Deutsche Bank in London, where he was involved with post-merger integration for the Global Corporate Finance division.
Mr. Rossi received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master of Business Administration degree, with honors, from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
