Mr. Shchebetov received a graduate degree from Novosibirsk State University in 1991and an MBA degree from the Stanford Graduate School of Business in 1994.
Prior to founding Trifecta in November 2007, he was Chief Executive Officer of Sistema Telecom — overseeing the development of $30 billion of telecommunication assets of AFK Sistema.
Prior to that, Mr. Shchebetov was in charge of strategy and corporate development at AFK Sistema, responsible for developing and executing strategy for Sistema's multiple industries (telecommunications, media, technology, insurance, banking, retail, real estate, travel & leisure, health care, industrial, oil and gas).
Prior to Sistmea, Mr. Shchebetov has worked at ATON Capital, McKinsey & Company and was a co-founder of several successful high-tech companies in Russia.
Mr. Shchebetov served as Chairman of Board of MobileTelesystems (NYSE: MBT) and Comstar — UTS (LSE: CMST).
He also served on the Boards of Svyazinvest, Sistema-Hals, Sky Link, Intourist, Sistema Mass Media and other numerous companies.
He has received his MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business and MS in Physics from Novorosibirsk State University
