Prior to joining Lotsoff Capital Management, Mr. Powers established an in-house risk management and accounting system for the hedge desk of Wickes Lumber Company and handled all hedging related transactions.
Prior to Wickes, he worked for Cargill, Inc. creating risk management strategies in several commodities markets using futures and options.
Mr. Powers holds a B.A.
in Organizational Behavior and Management from Brown University and a Master's degree in Financial Markets & Trading from the Stuart School of Business at Illinois Institute of Technology.
