Promyco Diagnostics' research laboratories are located at Soroka University Medical Center, Beer Sheba, Israel. The development of its novel commercial kit is based on the extensive knowledge and expertise accumulated at the NationalCenter for Mycoplasma Laboratory, in the same institution, which specializes and centralizes the clinical testing of mycoplasma infections from samples throughout Israel. This Center was founded and lead for over 20 years by Promyco Diagnostics' scientific leader, Professor Shulamith Horowitz. Promyco Diagnostics' novel serological kit is already in use at this laboratory; many hundreds of samples have proved the concept behind its technology, which will be shortly translated into a simple and accurate commercial kit.
