Dr. D'Vari was formerly with BlackRock where he was Head of Structured Finance Business and senior member of several key committees like Alternative, New Business, and Fixed Income Business Committees.
In the last two years Mr. D’Vari focused on some of the largest advisory, de-risking and restructuring global assignments in the industry.
He also helped to set up Penny MAC, a mortgage company and was lead portfolio manager for BlackRock’s Mortgage Investors, a distressed securities fund.
Prior to BlackRock, D’Vari was a member of Bond Policy Committee responsible for MBS/ABS/CMBS sectors of the portfolios and overall fixed income research.
Dr. D'Vari earned his B.S., M.S., M.B.A., and PhD degrees from University of California Los Angeles, and is a CFA charterholder.
He holds Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses.
