Chairman of the Board and of the Executive Committee of Explorer Investments.
During the 90s he created, developed and subsequently sold Midas Investimentos, one of the most successful independent brokers in the Portuguese market, where he was responsible for several departments.
After it was acquired by BBV in 1988 and until 2001, he created and ran the BBV’s Corporate Finance department in Portugal.
He previously worked at Carnegie International and Smith New Court (currently Merrill Lynch) in London.
He has an Economics BA by the University of York, Canada (1985) and an MBA by George Washington University, USA (1987).
