He joined Close Brothers Asset Management in 2014 and previously established a research team of analysts covering equity, fixed income and macro research.
Mr. Alster has over 28 years of investment experience having worked as an analyst, portfolio manager, and research head at AllianceBernstein, UBS Asset Management, American Express and Fleming Investment Management.
Prior to working in the financial services industry, he worked in the coal mining industry as an Energy Analyst.
He holds an MA in Philosophy from Edinburgh University and an MBA from the Cranfield School of Management.
