Robert Berra Chief Account Officer As Chief Account Officer, Bob serves as a senior counselor to each of the agency's four practice areas, helping ensure that the highest levels of quality, creativity and service are delivered to FischerHealth clients.
Bob's broad-based communication experience and seasoned strategic thinking make him a valued asset to both clients and account personnel.
As a senior member of the firm, Bob has also been instrumental in helping hone the agency’s focus in healthcare and plays a leadership role in the development of crisis communication strategies and programs.
Currently, he guides the agency’s work on the Humana account.
In addition, he has directed the firm’s programming for other major health plans, including: Blue Shield of California, WellPoint (Blue Cross of California and UNICARE), PacifiCare Foundation and FHP Healthcare (prior to its acquisition by PacifiCare).
In addition to helping provide staff direction and support, Bob oversees the agency's professional development program and account staff recruitment activities.
Prior to joining FischerHealth, Bob was Management Supervisor of the Healthcare and Corporate Relations Divisions of Manning, Selvage & Lee, one of the largest PR firms in the country.
In this capacity, Bob directed campaigns for companies such as FHP Healthcare, Great States Insurance Company, Quantum Health Resources, IBM, Nike, CF Motor Freight and Denny's Restaurants.
