Mr. Batts joined Ziegler in December 2007.
He joined the investment banking firm J.
C.
Bradford in 1983 and served as Vice President at Municipal Healthcare Finance until 1993 and as Partner and Manager of Municipal Healthcare Finance from 1993 to 2000.
He co-founded and served as Vice President at Finance and Acquisitions of Windrose Medical Properties Trust from its inception in 2000, and as Vice President at Acquisitions of Health Care REIT, a $4.5 billion health care real estate investment trust that acquired Windrose in 2006.
His career also includes financial relations, corporate communications and marketing management level positions at two major acute care hospital management companies.
Mr. Batts holds a BA degree from Oglethorpe University.
He has served as a Director and member of the executive committee of the Federation of American Hospitals and is Vice-Chairman of the Nashville/Davidson County Tennessee Health and Educational Facilities Board.
