Following college, Mr. Mayfield had served with the United States Marine Corps, obtaining the rank of Captain.
For nearly 25 years, he has participated in both angel and institutional private equity investing and has served on the Board of more than twenty companies, both public and private.
He is on the Board of Directors at Simbionix USA Corp., PerfectServe, Inc., and Galaxy Associates, Inc.
