Mr. Per Einar Ellefsen is a Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer & Chief Risk Officer at Amundsen Investment Management SAS.
Prior to founding Amundsen IM, Per Einar was Global Head of Equity Enhanced Indexing at the Norwegian sovereign wealth fund (NBIM).
In that role, he oversaw the investment strategy and portfolio management of the fund’s $600bn equity index portfolio.
From 2014 to 2018, he was a portfolio manager responsible for the selection and management of active external equity mandates for the fund in Europe and Asia.
He started his career as a commodity trader and analyst at Arrowhawk Capital Partners and its spin-off Arbalet Capital (2010-2013).
He holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Ecole Polytechnique in France (2008) and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2010).
